Cortexin Indications

In the complex therapy of traumatic brain injury, cerebral circulatory disorders, viral and bacterial neuroinfections, asthenic states, encephalopathy of different genesis, acute and chronic encephalitis and encephalomyelitis, epilepsy, impaired memory and thinking, reducing the ability to learn, the various forms of cerebral palsy, delayed psychomotor and speech development in children.

Dosage & Administration

The contents of the vial prior to injection were dissolved in 2.1 ml of water for injection or 0.9% solution of sodium chloride and administered daily one time a day: adults - 10 mg; children from the first days of life with a body weight up to 20 kg - 0.5 mg / kg of body weight; children weighing> 20 kg - 10 mg.

The period of treatment - 10 days.
If necessary, a second course of treatment after 1-6 months.

Individual hypersensitivity to the drug.

The period of pregnancy or lactation.
