Dosage & Administration
The usual starting and maintenance dose is 150 mg 1 time per day with food or on an empty stomach. Converium 150 mg 1 time a day generally provides a better 24 hour blood pressure control than 75 mg. However, early treatment can apply a dose of 75 mg, especially for patients who are on hemodialysis or in patients aged 75 years.
For patients whose blood pressure is not regulated dose of 150 mg 1 time a day, Converium dose can be increased to 300 mg 1 time per day or you can also assign other antihypertensive drugs. In particular, it was shown that adherence to drug therapy Konverium diuretic such as hydrochlorothiazide, has an additional effect.
For patients with hypertension and type II diabetes treatment should be started at a dose of 150 mg irbesartan 1 per day, then bring it up to 300 mg 1 time per day, which is the best supportive treatment dose for patients with kidney disease.
