Treatment of ovulation, including induction of ovulation in women with anovulatory cycles to conceive.
Secondary amenorrhea various etiologies (including amenorrhea after using contraceptives) .Syndrom Stein-Leventhal. Oligomenorrhea. Chiari syndrome, Frommelya syndrome (prolonged postpartum amenorrhea-galactorrhea). Oligospermia.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any component of the drug. Liver disease or abnormal liver function in history.
Ovarian cysts (except polycystic ovary syndrome).
Reduced pituitary function.
Functional disorders of the thyroid or adrenal glands.
Uterine bleeding of unknown etiology.
Hormone-dependent tumors. Violations of view.
Dosage & Administration
In the case of infertility dose and duration of treatment depends on the sensitivity (responsiveness) of the ovaries. In the case of regular cyclic bleeding is recommended to start treatment on the 5-day cycle (or 3-day cycle in case of early follicular phase ovulation if shorter than 12 days). In patients with amenorrhea treatment can start at any time of the cycle.
I Scheme of treatment: a dose of 50 mg daily administered for 5 days controlled ovarian response by conducting clinical and laboratory research. Ovulation occurs mostly between the 11th and 15th days of the cycle. In the absence of ovulation in response to the following treatment should proceed to the treatment regimen II.
II regim, from the 5th day of the cycle prescribed 100 mg daily for 5 days. If this time does not ovulation, the same treatment (100 mg daily) should be repeated again.
In the absence of ovulation should do a three-month break and recommend hold another three-cycle course of treatment. If this failed ovulation, repeat treatment is not recommended. The total dose during any one cycle should not exceed 750 mg.
When amenorrhea after using contraceptives dose is 50 mg per day for 5 days.
