Candesar Indications
- Arterial hypertension in adults.
- Heart failure and breach of left ventricular systolic function (left ventricular ejection fraction ≤ 40%) in adults, as an additional therapy to angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors or in case of intolerance to ACE inhibitors.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to candesartan tsyleksetylu or to any of the components of the preparation.
Severe hepatic impairment and / or cholestasis.
Dosage & Administration
The recommended starting dose and usual maintenance Kandesaru hypertension is 8 mg 1 time a day orally. The most pronounced antihypertensive effect is achieved within 4 weeks. If the blood pressure is controlled enough dose can be increased to 16 mg 1 time per day and the maximum - 32 mg 1 time a day. Dose adjust in response to changes in blood pressure.
Candesar can be used together with other antihypertensive drugs. The use of hydrochlorothiazide in combination with different doses Kandesaru provides additive antihypertensive effect.
