Calcium D is a combined preparation which includes Calcium carbonate which exerts antacid, anti-ulcer, calcium deficiency replenishing effect and Vitamin D3 which is an important component of calcium-phosphorus metabolism in the intestines and affects absorption of calcium in the tissues. Thus the components exert a wide variety of effects which correspond with each other and potentiate the overall effect of the preparation.
Calicum D is used in treatment or prophylaxis of the following:

-Osteomalacia
-As complex treatment for osteoporosis and rachitism
-During pregnancy, lactation period and teenagers in case of calcium deficiency
