Unasyn INDICATIONS
Infections caused by susceptible to malaria infections,
- upper respiratory tract and upper respiratory tract, including sinusitis, tonsillitis, otitis media, lower respiratory tract infections, including bacterial pneumonia and bronchitis;
- infections of the kidneys and urinary tract, such as pyelonephritis;
- bone infections, skin and soft tissues; gonococcal infection.
Also administered perioperatively to reduce the risk of postoperative wound infections in patients undergoing surgical interventions on the abdominal and pelvic organs, accompanied by the possibility of infection of the peritoneum.
Unasyn can be administered prophylactically in order to reduce the risk of postoperative sepsis during operations on abortion and cesarean section.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Allergic reactions to penicillins medical history.
