Levofloxacin Indications

Adults with infections of mild or moderate severity drug prescribed for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible to levofloxacin microorganisms:

- acute sinusitis,

- exacerbation of chronic bronchitis,

- pneumonia,

- complicated and uncomplicated urinary tract infection (in t. H. Pyelonephritis),

- skin infections and m ' tissues,

- chronic bacterial prostatitis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to quinolones / supporting the drug, epilepsy, presence of adverse reactions of the tendons in the previous quinolone treatment.

Dosage & Administration

The drug is taken 1 or 2 times a day. The dose depends on the type and severity of infection. The duration of treatment depends on the disease. It is recommended to continue treatment for at least 48-72 hours after normalization of body temperature or microbiological tests confirmed the destruction of pathogens.
