ALDARA Indications
The cream is used for topical treatment:
- external genital and perianal warts (acute genital warts);
- small superficial basal cell carcinomas (BCC);
- clinically typical, non-hyperkeratic, non-hypertrophic actinic keratosis (AK) on the skin of the face or scalp in patients with a normally functioning immune system, when the size or number of lesions limits the effectiveness and / or appropriateness of cryotherapy and other topical treatments are contraindicated or less appropriate.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Dosage & Administration
The frequency and duration of use is determined by the physician individually for each patient.
