Amaryl Indications
Diabetes mellitus type II in adults when blood sugar levels can not only keep diet, exercise and weight loss.
Contraindications
Amaryl is not intended for the treatment of insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, diabetic ketoacidosis, diabetic coma. Use of the drug is contraindicated in patients with severely impaired renal function or liver. In case of severe kidney disorders or liver need to switch the patient to insulin.
Amaryl is not be taken in patients with hypersensitivity to glimepiride or any auxiliary ingredient, which is part of the drug to sulfonylureas or other sulfanilamides (risk of hypersensitivity reactions).

Dosage & Administration
The doses of antidiabetic medications must be determined individually, depending on the level of glucose in the blood. Generally, treatment is recommended to start with the lowest effective dose and increase the dose according to glucose levels in the blood. The drug is used exclusively by adults.
The drug should be used 1 or 2 times per day before or during meals.
