Angeliq Indications
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) with estrogen deficiency symptoms in postmenopausal women over a period of 1 year after menopause.
Prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women period, are at increased risk of fractures and are intolerant of other drugs used for the prevention of osteoporosis, or who are contraindicated such means.
The experience of the drug in women over 65 is limited.
Contraindications
Genital bleeding of unknown etiology.
Breast cancer, a suspicion of it, or the presence of the said disease in history.
Estrogen-dependent malignant tumors or suspicion on them (eg endometrial cancer).
Untreated endometrial hyperplasia.
Venous thromboembolism or the presence of specified disease in history (deep venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism).
Arterial thrombosis in the acute stage or recently transferred (eg, angina, myocardial infarction, stroke).
High risk of venous or arterial thrombosis.
Acute liver disease or liver disease history until liver function parameters will not return to normal.
Dosage & Administration
Getting the drug Angeliq.
If HRT was for the first time or there is a transition to Angeliq with continuous combined preparation for hormone replacement therapy, the method Angeliq tablets can be started at any time.
If there is a transition to Angeliq with cyclic combined preparation for HRT should end the current cycle of therapy before the drug Angeliq.
Application method.
The drug Angeliq take 1 tablet a day without chewing, preferably at the same time, regardless of the meal, washed down with some liquid. Each package is designed for a 28-day course of treatment. Treatment continuously, ie taking them from the next pack immediately after the start of the previous package, without any intervals.
