Amlodipine Indications
- Arterial hypertension
- Stable stenocardia and vasospastic stenocardia (Prinzmetal angina).
Administration
Adults - the 1 time a day, before or afte meal.
When hypertension, angina pectoris and vasospastic angina: the average daily dose - 5 mg, if necessary, the dose gradually over 7-10 days, increase to a maximum daily dose - 10 mg. Duration of treatment is determined individually.
Contradictions
Individual hypersensitivity to amlodipine, to other dihydropyridine derivatives, or other components of the drug; severe hypotension (systolic blood pressure <90 mm Hg. Art.), collapse, cardiogenic shock, unstable angina pectoris, tachycardia, acute myocardial infarction (including 1 month after suffering a heart attack), expressed aortic stenosis, during pregnancy and breast-feeding, child and Youth age <18 years (effectiveness and safety have not been established).
