Ambroxol Indications

Therapy in acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with bronchial secretion disorders and weakening of sputum.

Contraindications

- Hypersensitivity (allergy) to ambroxol or other components of the drug;

- Hereditary fructose intolerance.

Dosage & Administration

Adults and children over 12 years - 10 ml (2 dosing spoons) 2 times per day, equivalent to 120 mg ambroxol hydrochloride per day.

The drug can be taken with meals or independently of food intake. Food intake does not affect the efficacy.

Term treatment of acute respiratory diseases and initial treatment of chronic conditions - up to 14 days. It is necessary to consult a doctor if symptoms last more than 14 days, or increase, despite the drug.

Daily dosing with the highest dose should be used in the initial treatment, the dose can be reduced by half after 14 days of drug treatment.
