Aescin Indications
- Chronic venous insufficiency.
- Hemorrhoids.
- Inflammation of the lower extremities.
- Prevention and treatment of post-traumatic and post-operative swelling and bruising.
Dosage & Adminsitration
Adults take 1 tablet, 3 times a day, if necessary, the dose can be increased to two tablets three times a day. To prevent the occurrence of post-operative swelling and bruising to begin use of the drug should not be less than 16 hours before the operation. Maintenance dose - 2 tablets 2 times per day.
Tablets are taken after a meal, drinking plenty of water.
Duration of therapy is determined by the physician individually depending on the severity of the disease and the clinical efficacy of the drug. The average duration of treatment is 2-3 months.
The gel is applied 3-5 times a day by applying a thin layer of lightly rubbing the affected area. Massage before applying the gel accelerates the absorption of active substances. The duration of therapy depends on the nature and course of the disease and is determined by your doctor.
Contradictions
Sensitivity to the active agent or any of the excipients; renal failure.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Children up to age 18 years.
The gel also can not be applied to mucous membranes, skin after irradiation field, and apply to open wounds in skin necrosis, as well as in I trimester of pregnancy.
