Acestad Indications

Dilution sputum in acute or chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with the formation and difficulty leaving sputum.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to acetylcysteine ​​or to any other component of the product; gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the acute stage, hemoptysis, pulmonary hemorrhage; liver, kidney, adrenal glands; pregnancy and lactation; congenital lactase deficiency, hereditary galactosemia, malabsorption of glucose and galactose.

Dosage & Administration

Adults and children 14 years - 400-600 mg acetylcysteine ​​per day, divided into 1-3 receptions.

Children aged 6 to 14 years - 400-600 mg acetylcysteine ​​per day, divided into 2-3 receptions.

Children aged 2 to 6 years - 200-400 mg acetylcysteine ​​per day, divided into 2 doses.

The drug is recommended to be taken after meals. The tablet should be dissolved in a glass of water and drink as soon as possible. Additional fluid intake increases the mucolytic effect of the drug.

Term treatment of chronic diseases determined by the physician depending on the nature and course of the disease. In acute uncomplicated disease acetylcysteine ​​applied 5-7 days.
