Medetrom Indications

Inflammation of the eye in patients sensitive to steroids, under which use of corticosteroids and there is a superficial bacterial infection or risk of bacterial infections of the eye. These inflammations can occur after surgery or may be caused by infection, infiltration of foreign body in the eye or ocular trauma.

Contraindication

· Hypersensitivity (allergic reaction) to tobramycin and / or dexamethasone or to any other ingredient of the drug;

· Untreated purulent infection of the eye;

· Viral infection of the eye (epithelial keratitis caused by the virus herpes simplex, which is a superficial infection of the eye and is characterized by ulcers tree shape on the surface of the eye);

· Cow smallpox (smallpox), varicella (chickenpox), or other viral infection of the eye (except keratitis caused by the virus herpes zoster);

· Fungal diseases of the eye structures;

· Mycobacterial infection of the eye (tuberculosis of the eye).

Dosage & Administration

Medetrom is used only for burying eyes.

Applying for adults and children aged 1 year.

Standard dosage: 1-2 drops in the eye (eye) every 4-6 hours. The duration of treatment determined by the physician.

Wash your hands before using the drug.
