Lisoril Indications
Essential hypertension, heart failure (symptomatic treatment), acute myocardial infarction (short-term treatment (6 weeks) hemodynamically stable patients no later than 24 hours after acute myocardial infarction), primary nephropathy in patients with type II diabetes with hypertension.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to lisinopril or to any of the excipients of the drug, increased sensitivity to other ACE inhibitors, angioedema in history during previous ACE inhibitor treatment, hereditary or idiopathic angioedema. State with unstable hemodynamics after acute myocardial infarction. The use in patients who are on hemodialysis using vysokoprotochnyh membranes (eg, AN 69). The level of serum creatinine> 220 mmol / L. Pregnant women or women who plan to become pregnant.
Dosage & Administration
Lisinopril is recommended to take orally 1 time a day at about the same time. Lisinopril absorption is independent of food intake. The dose should be individualized according to patient profile and blood pressure.
Essential hypertension. Lisinopril may be used as monotherapy or in combination with other antihypertensive drugs.
