KETOLONGUM Indications
Relief of moderate and severe postoperative pain for a short time.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to ketorolac or any other component of the drug and other NSAIDs.
- Active peptic ulcer, recent gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation or peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding history.
- The presence or suspected gastrointestinal bleeding or cranial hemorrhage. State high risk of bleeding or incomplete hemostasis, hemorrhagic diathesis.
- Severe renal dysfunction (serum creatinine above 160 mmol / l).
- The risk of renal failure due to decreased fluid volume.
- Blood clotting.
Dosage & Aadministrations
Recommended in the hospital. After intramuscular analgesic effect is observed after about 30 minutes, and maximum pain relief occurs after 1-2 hours.
Overall the average duration of analgesia 8-12 hours. The dose should be adjusted depending on the severity of pain and the patient's response to treatment.
