Hylo-Care Indications
- For moisturizing the cornea and symptomatic treatment of dry eyes ("dry eye" syndrome);
- to stimulate reepithelialization in superficial lesions of the cornea.
Contradictions
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug.
Interaction with other drugs and other types of interactions.
Concomitant use of HILO-KEA® eye drops with other ophthalmic drugs should be avoided. If such a need still exists, these drugs should be instilled no later than 30 minutes before using HILO-KEA® eye drops. However, eye ointments should always be applied last.
Because topical ophthalmic use immediately reaches the target organ and primarily exhibits a physical effect (moisturizing the surface of the eye) without systemic action, no drug interactions other than physical interactions with topical eye drops are expected.
Dosage & Administration
Usually instilled 1 drop of the drug in each eye 3 times a day. If necessary, the frequency of instillation can be increased. A significant increase in the frequency of instillation of the drug HILO-KEA® (for example, more than 10 times a day) can be carried out at the discretion of the ophthalmologist and under his supervision.
The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually.
