Gropivirine indications
· Viral respiratory infections;
· Viral infections caused by herpes simplex virus types 1 and 2, chickenpox virus, cytomegalovirus, Epstein-Barr virus, measles virus, mumps virus, including in patients with immunodeficiency;
· Papillomavirus infections of the skin and mucous membranes: acute condyloma, papillomavirus infection of the vulva, vagina and cervix (as part of complex therapy);
· Acute viral encephalitis (as part of complex therapy);
· Viral hepatitis (as part of complex therapy);
· Subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (as part of complex therapy).
Gropivirine contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients, exacerbation of gout, hyperuricemia.
Method of application and dosage
The drug is administered orally.
The daily dose depends on body weight, course and severity of the disease, the patient's condition.
The daily dose should be divided evenly over the course of the day.
Adults, including the elderly: the recommended daily dose is 50 mg / kg body weight (1 ml / kg), usually 3 g / day (20 ml of syrup 3-4 times a day). The maximum daily dose for adults is 80 ml of syrup (4 g of pranosbex inosine).
