Contradictions
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients of the drug. Breast feeding period.
Dosage & Administration
Gemcitabine should only be used under the supervision of a physician experienced in the management of antitumor chemotherapy.
Gemcybin is well tolerated during infusion and can be administered as an outpatient treatment. In the case of extravasation, the infusion should be stopped immediately and the injection into another vessel should be continued. It is necessary to carefully monitor the patient's condition after infusion.
