Furosemide Indications
Edema in chronic congestive heart failure (if necessary treatment with diuretics).
Edema in acute congestive heart failure.
Edema in chronic renal failure.
Acute renal failure, including in pregnant women or during labor.
Swelling of liver diseases (where appropriate, to supplement treatment with aldosterone antagonists).

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to furosemide or other components that make up the drug.
