Fluzac Indications

The treatment of such diseases in adults:

- Cryptococcal meningitis

- Coccidiosis

- Invasive candidiasis

- Mucosal candidiasis including oropharyngeal candidiasis, oesophageal candidiasis and, kandyduriya, chronic candidiasis of the skin and mucous membranes

- Chronic atrophic candidiasis (candidiasis caused by dentures) after failure of local dental hygiene products

- Vaginal candidiasis, acute or recurrent when local therapy is not feasible

- Candida balanitis when local therapy is not feasible

- Ringworm, including athlete's foot, athlete's smooth skin, inguinal dermatomycosis, colorful versicolor skin infections and candidiasis when systemic therapy is inappropriate

- Dermatofitnyy onychomycosis, as with other products is inappropriate

Prevention of diseases in adults:

- Relapse of cryptococcal meningitis in patients with high risk of development

- Oropharyngeal candidiasis relapse or esophagus in patients with HIV with a high risk of development

Contraindications

- Hypersensitivity to fluconazole, other azole compounds or to any of the excipients of the drug.

- Concomitant use of fluconazole and terfenadine patients who use multiple fluconazole doses of 400 mg / day and above (according to a study of interaction between multiple application).

- Concomitant use of fluconazole and other drugs that prolong QT interval and are metabolized by the enzyme CYP2A4 (eg cisapride, astemizole, pimozide, quinidine and erythromycin).

Dosage & Administration
