Fligesic Indications

- painful spasms of the muscles of the musculoskeletal system;

- tension-type headache;

- pain caused by malignant tumors;

- pain in dismenoree;

- pain after traumatologic/orthopedic operations and after injury.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to flupirtine maleate or any excipient in the drug, severe liver disease, hepatic encephalopathy, cholestasis, alcoholism, myasthenia gravis (Myasthenia gravis), ringing in the ears.

Dosage & Administration

The dose is selected individually, taking into account pain intensity and sensitivity of the patient to the drug. Capsules should be taken without chewing and with sufficient amount of water (100 ml).

Adults take 1 capsule 3-4 times a day at regular intervals of time. In cases of very severe pain, the dose can be increased to 2 capsules of the drug 3 times a day. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 600 mg (equivalent to 6 capsules).

The duration of therapy should not exceed 2 weeks.

The patient needs to monitor liver function after each full week of treatment. Treatment should be discontinued if there are signs of disorders of liver.
