Erotex Indications

Local contraception for women of reproductive age, especially in cases where its benefits are undeniable:
- with contraindications to oral and intrauterine contraception;
- postpartum and lactation periods;
- in the period after termination of pregnancy;
- perimenopausal period;
- with irregular sexual intercourse;
- during the replacement of an intrauterine device;
- in the break period in use of oral contraceptives, as well as the concomitant use of drugs that reduce the effectiveness of hormonal konratseptivov (eg NSAIDs);
- as an aid in barrier contraception (uterine diaphragm, intrauterine device).
Eroteks can be used further together with any other means of contraception, including condom.

Dosage & Administration

Before using the product Eroteks must remove the suppository from its protective packaging and put it deep into the vagina at least 5 minutes prior to sexual intercourse. During this time, the active spermicidal ingredient is distributed evenly in the vagina. In case of repeated sexual intercourse must always enter another Eroteks suppositories (one suppository for one sex!).

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Side effects

Patients with hypersensitivity to benzalkonium chloride can be allergic reactions. In some cases, you may experience a burning sensation in the vagina, which is rapidly eliminated by syringing with clean water and does not require any special events. Systemic side effects have been reported.
