Eridon Indications
Treatment for acute psychotic state of schizophrenic patients and prolonged maintenance therapy in chronic schizophrenia within to prevent recurrence.
Monotherapy or combined treatment of acute manic and mixed episodes in bipolar disorder.
Contradictions
Eridon is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the drug installed.
Dosage & Adminstration
The drug is prescribed with initial dose of 2 mg / day in 1 or 2 doses, if necessary, increase the dose of 1-2 mg / day. For most patients, the recommended dose is 4-6 mg / day.
The dose of 10 mg in most cases no additional benefit efficiency can lead to an increase in side reactions, it is recommended to limitations.
Supportive therapy for schizophrenia (relapse prevention) involves the use of Eridon 2-6 mg per day. Patients who use supportive therapy, need periodic examination, since the dose may vary.
Elderly patients with severe liver and / or kidney - initial and subsequent doses are reduced to 2 times.
