Novox Indications
Infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to the drug:
- Acute sinusitis;
- Exacerbation of chronic bronchitis;
- Community acquired pneumonia;
- Complicated and uncomplicated urinary tract infections (including pyelonephritis);
- Infections of skin and soft tissues;
- Chronic bacterial prostatitis;
- Septymetsiya / bacteremia;
- Intra-abdominal infections.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to levofloxacin or other fluoroquinolones or to any ingredient of the drug. Epilepsy. Damage to tendons associated with taking fluoroquinolones.
Dosage& Administration
The drug is taken 1-2 times a day. The dose depends on the type and severity of infection. The duration of treatment depends on the disease and is not more than 14 days.
It is recommended to continue treatment for at least 48-72 hours after normalization of body temperature or microbiological tests confirmed the destruction of pathogens.
Tablets are swallowed without chewing, drinking plenty of fluids.
Apply regardless of the meal. In tablet inscribed with the distribution line for easy dividing it into parts if necessary.
