OLFEN Indications
- Inflammatory and degenerative forms of rheumatism: chronic arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, including spondylarthritis, cervical pain syndrome.
- Rheumatic diseases extraarticular tissues.
- Post-traumatic and postoperative pain syndromes involving inflammation and edema, particularly after dental or orthopedic surgery.
- Pain and / or inflammation of gynecological disorders, primary dysmenorrhea, adnexitis.
- Migraine attacks.
- Acute gout attacks.
- As auxiliary treatment of acute inflammatory infectious diseases of the ear, nose and throat, accompanied by pain, such as pharyngitis and tonsillitis, otitis.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to excipients of the drug.
- A history of allergic diseases such as bronchospasm, acute rhinitis, nasal polyps, urticaria associated with the use of aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
- Gastric and / or duodenal ulcer in the acute stage, or gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation.
- Inflammatory bowel disease such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis.
- Proctitis.
- Severe heart failure (III-IV class classification of New York Heart Association).
- Severe hepatic impairment (liver cirrhosis with ascites).
- Severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance <30 mL / min).
- Treatment of postoperative pain after coronary bypass surgery (or after using lung machine).
Dosage & Administration
The dose is adjusted individually. The minimum effective dose be appointed within the shortest time possible.
Olfen -100 Rectokaps must enter deeply into the rectum, preferably after a bowel movement.
