Glibomet Indications
Diabetes mellitus type II (insulin-independent diabetes - NIDDM) when diet and lack of effectiveness of monotherapy with sulfonylurea or biguanide drugs.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any existing (glibenclamide, metformin) or a complementary component of the drug, or other sulfonylureas, sulphonamides, sulfamidnyh diuretics and probenecid due to the possibility of cross-reactions;
- Diabetes pregnant women;
- Complete treatment failure glibenclamide in diabetes mellitus type II;
- Type I diabetes (insulin-dependent);
- Diabetic coma and prekomy;
Dosage & Administration
The daily dose and duration of treatment scheme based on patient metabolism parameters determined by the physician.
Typically, the initial dose of 2 coated tablets, per day, to be taken with the main meal. The daily dose should not exceed 6 tablets. Gradually it should be reduced to the minimum maintenance dose glucose levels under control.
