5 Fluorouracil EBEWE Indications
Treatment of breast cancer and colorectal cancer (in the form of monotherapy or in combination with other antineoplastic agents).
Treatment for stomach cancer, head and neck cancer and pancreatic cancer.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to fluorouracil or to any of the components of the drug.
- Significant deviation of the number of formed elements in the blood.
- Inhibition of bone marrow function, especially after radiation therapy or treatment with other antineoplastic agents.
- Bleeding
- Severe liver and / or kidney problems.
- Severe infectious diseases (such as scabies, chicken pox).
- Stomatitis, ulcers of the mucous membrane of the mouth and the gastrointestinal tract.
- Pseudomembranous enterocolitis.
- Myelosuppression.
- Severe diarrhea.
- Strong exhaustion (cachexia).
- Bilirubin level in plasma> 85 μmol / l.
- During the treatment with fluorouracil, vaccination with live vaccines should be avoided.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding.
