Hydrocortisone has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effect.
Indications: applied with inflammatory and allergic diseases of the skin non-microbial etiology: eczema, atopic and contact dermatitis, neurodermatitis, psoriasis.
Contraindications: hypersensitivity to the drug. The use is contraindicated in the wound, ulcer lesions, bacterial, viral and fungal diseases of the skin. The drug is not prescribed to pregnant women.
Dosing and Administration: locally. The affected skin surface smeared with a thin layer of ointment 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment - 1-3 weeks. The dose of the drug used during the week should not exceed 30-60, the itching in the anal area before applying the drug should wash the affected area with warm soapy water, then water and dry the surface of the skin with a towel or cloth. For weeping skin diseases, lesions of the scalp, use a lotion and emulsion for external use.
Side effect: skin irritation; long-term use (especially with occlusive dressings and / or applied to the large surface area) - systemic side effects.
