Diftal Indications
- Postoperative inflammation after cataract surgery and other surgical interventions.
- The decrease in severity of pain during photophobia.
- Post-traumatic inflammatory process in nepronicath wounds of the eyeball.
- The inhibition of miosis during surgery for cataract.
- Cystoidea the prevention of macular edema after cataract surgery and a lens implant.
Dosage & Administration
Directly before use hold the bottle in your palms to warm it to body temperature. To remove the cap and gently pressing the body of the vial, drip R-R in the eye cavity of the conjunctiva). Eye surgery and complications
Before surgery is prescribed 1 drop 5 times during 3 hours.
After surgery prescribed 1 drop 3 times per day on the day of surgery, then 1 drop 3-5 times daily, duration is determined individually.
The decrease in severity of pain and photophobia; post-traumatic inflammation
1 drop every 4-6 h. If the pain is caused by surgical procedure (e.g. surgery about vision correction), buried by 1-2 drops in течение1 h before surgery, 1-2 drops during the first 15 minutes after surgery, 1 drop every 4-6 hours for the next 3 days.
Patients of advanced age. There is no evidence requiring dose adjustment in elderly age.
Contradictions
hypersensitivity to the active substance or any component of the drug.
Like other NSAIDs, Digtal is contraindicated in patients with attacks of ASTHMA, urticaria, acute rhinitis associated with the use of aspirin or other drugs inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis. There is a possibility of cross-sensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid, phenylacetic acid derivatives and other NSAIDs. Therefore, caution should be exercised when treating patients with hypersensitivity to these drugs.
