Dicloran Plus Indications
symptomatic treatment of pain, inflammation and swelling at:
- Damage to the soft tissues: tendons injury, ligaments, muscles and joints (eg due to sprains, strains, bruises); sports injuries;
- Inflammatory and degenerative joint diseases (osteoarthritis of peripheral joints and spine), inflammatory lesions of the musculoskeletal system of various origins (bursitis, arthritis, tenosynovitis, tendonitis).
Administration
Applied externally!
Adults and children over the age of 12 years: 2-4 g of gel (strip 4-8 cm), put a thin layer on the skin and is easily rubbed 2-3 times a day. The average daily dose is 10 g of gel, corresponding to 100 mg of diclofenac sodium. Apply the drug should be on intact skin, avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Gel should not be applied to open wounds.
After application of the preparation should wash their hands, except when it is this site to be treated. Duration of therapy is determined by the physician depending on the nature of the disease and the effectiveness of treatment.
The drug should not be used longer than 14 days in a row - in the defeat of the soft tissue or inflammatory diseases of soft tissues, or longer than 21 days from the pain caused by arthritis, if the physician is not assigned to another.
Patients older dose adjustment is required.
Dicloran Gel Plus can be used as an additional drug for patients with diseases of the joints, while taking oral dosage forms of diclofenac sodium.
Contradictions
Hypersensitivity to diclofenac, acetylsalicylic acid and other NSAIDs;
Hypersensitivity to other components of the drug;
Asthma, urticaria or rhinitis, triggered by the use of aspirin or other NSAIDs;
Gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the acute phase;
Damage to the epidermis, open sores in the area of application.
