Dapril Indications
- Hypertension;
- chronic heart failure;
- acute myocardial infarction in patients with stable hemodynamics (systolic blood pressure> 100 mm. Hg. Art.);
- diabetic nephropathy in diabetes mellitus type II.
Contraindications
With hypersensitivity to lisinopril or other ACE inhibitors, or one of the components of the preparation.
Angioneurotic edema history (including ACE inhibitors after application, idiopathic and hereditary angioedema).
Aortic or mitral stenosis or hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with severe hemodynamic impairment.
Bilateral renal artery stenosis or stenosis of the artery of a single kidney.
Acute myocardial infarction with unstable hemodynamics.
Cardiogenic shock.
Patients with creatinine level in blood serum ≥ 220 mmol / L.
Primary hyperaldosteronism.
Dosage & Administration
Lisinopril is recommended orally 1 time a day, at about the same time. Food intake does not affect absorption of lisinopril tablets. The dose should be determined according to individual patient response and blood pressure.
Hypertension
Lisinopril may be used as monotherapy and in combination with other antihypertensive drugs.
The initial dose
For patients with hypertension the recommended starting dose is 10 mg.
Maintenance dose
Normal recommended maintenance dose is 20 mg once a day.
Patients taking diuretic drugs
Symptomatic hypotension may occur after initiation of treatment lisinopril. It is more likely for patients taking diuretics during treatment with lisinopril. Because such patients are advised to take the drug with caution because of the increased likelihood of removing salt from the body and / or reduce the amount of interstitial fluid.
