Cusimolol Indications
Ocular hypertension, chronic open angle glaucoma and some cases of secondary glaucoma.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any excipients of the drug components.
Diseases that are accompanied by Hyper-reactivity of the Airways, including bronchial asthma or bronchial asthma, a history of severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Sinusova aetiology, symptoms of weakness sinus node, sinoatrial block, atrioventricular block II or III degree, which is not controlled by the pacemaker, severe heart failure or cardiogenic shock.Method of application and doses.
Dosage & Administration
Adults, place 1 drop of 0.25 % solution of timolol (drug use timolol in appropriate concentration) in the affected eye (eyes) twice a day. If the result is unsatisfactory, apply a 0.5% solution.
If intraocular pressure is not controlled properly, you can begin concomitant therapy with the use of miotic drugs, epinephrine, systemic carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. If during treatment is due the reduction of intraocular pressure, it is necessary to continue maintenance treatment, burying 1 drop of the drug on the day.
