Clavam Indications
Treatment of bacterial infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to the drug, such as:
- severe infections of the throat, nose and ears (such as mastoiditis, sinusitis and epihlotyt with accompanying serious systemic symptoms);
- exacerbations of chronic bronchitis (after confirmation of diagnosis);
- community acquired pneumonia;
- cystitis;
- pyelonephritis;
- infections of skin and soft tissue in the t. H. Bacterial cellulitis, animal bites, severe abscesses dentoalveolyarni with advanced cellulite;
- infections of bones and joints, t. H. Osteomyelitis;
- intra-abdominal infections;
- infection of the genitals in women.
Prevention of bacterial infections at high surgical interventions in the following areas:
- digestive tract;
- pelvic organs;
- head and neck;
- biliary tract.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substances, penicillin and other kompnentiv drug.
Severe allergic reaction of immediate type (eg anaphylaxis) to another beta-lactam antibiotic (eg cephalosporin, carbapenem or Monobactam) in history.
Jaundice / hepatic dysfunction in history, which was caused by amoxicillin / clavulanic acid (see. Section "Adverse Reactions").
Dosage & Administration
Doses are given as the content of amoxicillin / clavulanic acid, unless a separate dose component.
When choosing Klavamu doses to treat certain infections must be considered: expected pathogens and their alleged sensitivity to antibacterial agents (see. Section "Peculiarities of Application"); the severity and localization of infection; age, weight and condition of the patient's kidney function
