Cefoktam INDICATIONS
- infectious and inflammatory diseases caused by susceptible to malaria pathogens, including infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract infections - acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, bacterial pneumonia, lung abscess;
- ear infections, throat and nose - sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis and otitis media;
- urinary tract infections - acute and chronic pyelonephritis, cystitis, asymptomatic bacteriuria;
- soft tissue infection - erysipelas, wound infections; bone and joint infections - osteomyelitis, septic arthritis;
- inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs (obstetrics and gynecology);
- gonorrhea; other infections - peritonitis, septicemia, meningitis;
- prevention of infections in surgical interventions on the abdominal, pelvic, orthopedic and cardiovascular operations.
APPLICATION
The patient must be tested to antibiotics before use of the drug.
Solvents for dissolving cefuroxime powder: 5% solution of glucose for injection, 10% solution of glucose for injection, 0.9% solution of sodium chloride for injection, 5% solution of glucose with a 0.9 or 0.45 %, or 0.225% solution of sodium chloride for injection, r-ry Ringer, Ringer's lactate, Hartmann, water for injections.
/ M: 3 ml of water for injection and 0.75 g of the drug, the vial is gently agitated until a smooth slurry.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to cephalosporin antibiotics.
Bleeding and gastrointestinal diseases in history, including ulcerative colitis.
