Ceftriaxone INIDCATIONS
infections caused by susceptible pathogens to Cefaxone sepsis;
- meningitis;
- abdominal infections (peritonitis, biliary tract infections, and gastrointestinal tract);
- infections of bones, joints, soft tissue, skin and wound infections;
- infections in patients with impaired function of the immune system;
- kidney and urinary tract infections; respiratory tract infections, particularly pneumonia, and upper respiratory tract infection;
- genital infections, including gonorrhea.
It is also used to prevent infection in surgery.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to cephalosporin antibiotics group in history. When a patient is hypersensitive to penicillin, consider the possibility of allergic cross-reaction.
