Bronchomucyn Indications
Treating the symptoms of disorders of bronchial secretion and excretion of mucus, especially of acute bronchopulmonary diseases, such as acute bronchitis; in exacerbations of chronic diseases of the respiratory system.
Contraindications
- An allergic reaction to any component of the drug in history (especially methylparaben or other salts parahidroksybenzoatu);
- Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in acute;
- I trimester of pregnancy due to lack of data on the teratogenic and embryotoxical action.
Dosage & Administration
Bronhomutsyn 2% is recommended for the treatment of children aged 2 to 15 years
Bronhomutsyn 5% - to treat adults and children aged 15 years.
The maximum single dose for children is 100 mg carbocisteine.
Duration of treatment should not exceed 8-10 days.
Duration of carbocisteine children should be the shortest, no more than 5 days.
