Betoptic S Indications

Contraindications
· Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the ingredients.
· Sinus bradycardia, sinus node dysfunction syndrome, dysfunction of sinus-atrial node, atrioventricular block second or third degree, uncontrolled pacemaker. Severe heart failure or cardiogenic shock.
· Reactive airway disease, including asthma or severe asthma severe a history of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease severe.
Dosage and administration
For ophthalmic use.
Adults, including the elderly people
The recommended dose is one drop BETOPTIC S in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye (eyes), 2 times a day. In some patients to stabilize the hypotensive effect BETOPTIC S should be applied several weeks. We recommend careful monitoring of patients with glaucoma.
The use for children and adolescents
Efficacy and safety of eye drops BETOPTIC S for use in patients under 18 years have not been established.
Application for violations of liver and kidney function
BETOPTIC S has not been studied for this category of patients.
Application method
Before using the drug the vial should be well shaken.
To prevent contamination of the dropper tip and suspension should be careful not to touch the eyelids, surrounding areas or other surfaces of bottle-dropper tip.
