Belladonna extract Indications
Hemorrhoids, anal fissure.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to belladonna or to the drug. Diseases of the cardiovascular system, in which the increase in heart rate may be undesirable, atrial fibrillation, tachycardia, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, mitral stenosis, severe hypertension. Glaucoma. Urinary retention, or predisposition to it. Myasthenia. The disease of the gastrointestinal tract, accompanied by obstruction. Hyperthermal syndrome. Thyrotoxicosis. Acute bleeding.
Dosage & Administration
Adults are prescribed to use rectally 1 suppository 2-3 times a day. If necessary, you can apply more, but not more than 10 suppositories per day.
The duration of treatment determined by the physician individually according to the course and severity of the disease, achieved therapeutic effect overall treatment. The recommended duration of treatment is 5-7 days.
