Atoris Indications
Hyperlipidemia.
Atoris lowers total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, apolipoprotein B, and triglycerides in the blood serum of patients with primary hyperlipidemia type IIa and IIb, including polygenic hypercholesterolemia, heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia and mixed hyperlipidemia.
Atoris also indicated for the reduction of elevated total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol and apolipoprotein B in patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia.
Dosage & Administration
Atoris before assigning the patient should be transferred to a diet low in lipids, which he must adhere to during the course of drug therapy.
The recommended starting dose Atoris - 1 tablet (10 mg) per day. If necessary, the daily dose can be increased to 80 mg Atoris, depending on the desired effect. 1 The drug is taken once daily at the same time, before or after meals. The effect is observed after 2 weeks of treatment, the maximum - in 4 weeks. After 2-4 weeks of starting treatment and lipid profile should be done in accordance with its performance otkorrigirovat dose.

Treatment begins with a recommended starting dose (10 mg) per day, if necessary, which increases within 4 weeks depending on the patient response. The maximum daily dose - 80 mg.
Contradictions
- hypersensitivity to any component of the drug;
- liver disease in the acute stage;
- persistent increase in transaminase activity in serum (more than 3 times the upper limit of normal);
- skeletal muscle disease;
- during pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- efficacy and safety of Atoris drug in children under the age of 10 years have not studied, so the drug treatment of children in this age group are not recommended.
