Essential hypertension
Dosage & Administration
For oral administration: 1 tablet (1.5 mg) per day, preferably in the morning. The tablet should be swallowed whole without chewing, washing down with water.
Use of the drug at higher doses does not increase the antihypertensive effect, but increases the diuretic effect.

Contradictions
- Hypersensitivity to indapamide, to other sulfonamides or to any components of the drug;
- severe renal impairment;
- hepatic encephalopathy and severe hepatic dysfunction;
- hypokalemia.
