Anrdocur Indications
For men
For the palliative treatment of metastatic or locally progressive inoperable prostate cancer:
- If treatment luteinizing releasing hormone analogues (LRH) or surgery were insufficient or contraindicated preferred to oral therapy
- Originally to prevent undesirable secondary effects and complications that can be caused by increased levels of serum testosterone in early treatment agonists LRH
- To treat hot flashes that occur during treatment LRH agonists or orchiectomy after
Reduced libido and hypersexuality with sexual deviations.
For women
Androgenizatsii phenomena in severe or very severe, such as:
- Severe androgen caused by increased body hair on the face and body (hirsutism severe)
- Severe hair loss caused by androgens (androgenetic alopecia), often combined with severe course of acne and / or oily
- When cyproterone acetate in small doses or other hormones with antiandrogenic action is ineffective.
Note: pregnant women taking the drug is contraindicated Androkur® because before treatment to exclude the fact of pregnancy. In fertile women Androkur® the drug should be combined with appropriate taking estrogen or a combination of progestin and estrogen to prevent violations of the cycle.
Contraindications
For men (to reduce libido in pathological deviations in the sexual sphere):
- Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug
- Liver disease
- Dubin-Johnson syndrome, Rotor syndrome
- Liver tumors now or in history
- Meningioma now or in history
- Set malignancies or suspicion of their presence
- Severe chronic depression
- Thromboembolic conditions at present or in history
- Severe diabetes with vascular complications
- Sickle cell anemia
- Teens completion of puberty and children.
For women
- Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug
- Pregnancy
- Lactation
- Vaginal bleeding of unknown etiology
- Liver disease
- Dubin-Johnson syndrome, Rotor syndrome
- Jaundice or persistent itching during a previous pregnancy history
- Herpes pregnancy in history
- Liver tumors now or in history
- Set malignancies or suspicion of their presence
- Severe chronic depression
- Thromboembolic conditions at present or in history
- Severe diabetes with vascular complications
