Androfarm Indications

Dosage & Administration
Solution is injected deep into the muscle. You should avoid contact with the drug in the blood vessels. It is recommended to inject the drug slowly.
Treatment of inoperable cancer of the prostate
The preparation at a dose of 3 ml inserted deep / m times in one week.
While improving the condition or disease remission should not change the prescribed dose of the drug or stop treatment.
To reduce sexual desire in pathological abnormalities in the genital area in males
3 ml of the drug is administered every 10-14 days, a deep V / m. In exceptional cases, if the effect of the lack of treatment can be administered to 6 ml of the drug (preferably 3 ml in the left and right gluteal muscle) every 10-14 days.

Elderly patients
No evidence of the need for dose adjustment for elderly patients.
Patients with hepatic insufficiency
Androfarm drug is contraindicated in patients with liver disease (as long as liver function tests have not returned to normal).
Patients with renal failure
No evidence of the need for dose adjustment in patients with renal insufficiency.
Contradictions
General contra-indications: hypersensitivity to the drug, liver disease, syndrome Dubin - Johnson syndrome, Rotor syndrome; liver tumors, including history (only in the case when the tumor is not due to metastases of prostate cancer), severe general condition (if it is not associated with prostate cancer inoperable), severe chronic depression, thromboembolic condition currently, meningioma now or in history.
