Amigren Indications
For fast relief state at migraine attacks with or without aura it.
Dosage & Administration
Amigren capsules should not be used to prevent attacks.
Amigren must be applied as soon as possible after the onset of a migraine attack, though it is equally effective at every stage of the attack.
Amigren recommended dose for adults - 50 mg (1 tablet). In some cases, the dose may be increased to 100 mg (2 capsules).
Amigren can be used for new migraine attack, but if the first dose will be ineffective, we should not use the drug again during the same attack.
If the patient has responded to the first dose, but the symptoms are restored, the second dose can be applied within the next 24 hours, with a total daily dose should not exceed 300 mg.
The capsules should be swallowed whole with water.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.
Myocardial infarction history, coronary heart disease, Prinzmetal angina, peripheral vascular disease or symptoms of coronary heart disease.
Stroke or transient cerebrovascular accident in history.
Moderate or severe hypertension and mild uncontrolled hypertension.
Severe hepatic insufficiency.
