Aladin Indications
- Hypertension.
- Chronic stable angina.
- Vasospastic angina (Prinzmetal angina).
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity to dihydropyridines, amlodipine or to any other component of the drug.
- Hypotension severe.
- Shock (including cardiogenic shock).
- Obstruction output tract of the left ventricle (eg aortic stenosis is severe).
- Hemodynamically unstable heart failure after acute myocardial infarction.
Dosage & Administration
Adults. For the treatment of hypertension and angina pectoris the usual initial dose is 5 mg of amlodipine 1 per day. Depending on the patient's response to therapy dose can be increased to a maximum dose of 10 mg 1 time a day.
Patients with angina - drug may be used as monotherapy or in combination with other antianginal drugs in resistance to nitrates and / or adequate doses of beta blockers.
