Afobazol Indications
- anxiety, accompanied by a sense of anxiety, fear, irritability, emotional lability, anxiety, agitation;
- generalized anxiety disorder, neurasthenia, disturbance of adaptation; somatic diseases and conditions (asthma, irritable bowel syndrome, systemic lupus erythematosus, ischemic heart disease, hypertension, arrhythmia, cardiopsychoneurosis, premenstrual syndrome, menopausal syndrome, alcohol withdrawal syndrome), dermatological, oncological and other diseases;
- reduce the manifestations of withdrawal symptoms when quitting smoking.
Dosage & Administration
After meal. The optimal single dose - 10 mg daily - 30 mg for 3 doses distributed over the day. The duration of treatment is 2-4 weeks. If necessary, the daily dose can be increased to 60 mg, and extended treatment to 3 months.
Contradictions
During pregnancy and lactation, hypersensitivity to the drug, age under 18 years (the action of the drug in children and adolescents under the age of 18 years have not studied).
