Abyflox Indications

Bacterial inflammatory processes in adults caused by bacteria that are susceptible to levofloxacin:

- inflammation of the lungs,

- complications of urinary tract infections (including pyelonephritis),

- skin and soft tissue infections,

- chronic bacterial prostatitis.

Contradictions

Hypersensitivity to levofloxacin, other quinolones or to any component of the drug; epilepsy; complaints of side reactions from the tendons after previous use of quinolones.

Dosage & Admonistration

Method of administration and dose.

Before use, a sensitivity test is required.

The drug should be used immediately after the perforation of the rubber stopper (within 3 hours) to prevent any bacterial contamination.

Protect from light when infused is not needed.

Given the biological equivalence of oral and parenteral forms, the same dosage is possible.

Dosage depends on the type and severity of the infection.
