Tyzine Xylo Indications
To reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa in acute rhinitis, episodes of heavy discharge from the nose (vasomotor rhinitis) and allergic rhinitis (allergic rhinitis).
For ease of secretion in case of paranasal sinusitis and inflammation of the mucous membrane of the middle ear combined with a cold.
Contraindications
Tyzine Xylo should not be used in the following cases:
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance ksilometazolina hydrochloride or to any of the excipients of the drug;
- Dry inflammation of the nasal membranes of the nose to form scabs (rhinitis dry);
- Simultaneous treatment inhibitors of monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor treatment monoamine oxidase (MAO) for two weeks before the application Tyzine Xylo nasal drops or other drugs can increase blood pressure;
- Closure glaucoma;
- Acute coronary disease;
- Coronary asthma;
- Hyperthyroidism.
Dosage & Administration
Doses
The dose depends on the patient's individual sensitivity and clinical effect.
If not otherwise assigned, to children aged 2 to 6 years Tyzine Xylo 1 injection (0.05% dose spray) in each nostril up to 3 times a day. Children aged 6 years and adults appoint 1 injection Tyzine Xylo (0.1% dose spray) in each nostril up to 3 times a day.
Application method
To use Tyzine Xylo metered spray of cold, first you must remove the protective cap. Before first use, press the dispenser several times to the emergence of homogeneous spray. Metered spray is ready for further use. The tip cap should be introduced in each nostril and press 1 again. When cutting should breathe gently through your nose.
Measuring bottle to keep straight. Do not spray downward or sideways. For reasons of hygiene should be wiped sprayer after each use and put on the cap.
Duration of treatment
Tyzine Xylo should not be used longer than 3-5 days, unless recommended by a doctor.
