Katadalon Indications
Treatment of acute pain in adults.
Katadolon ointment can be applied only when treatment with other pain medications (eg, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, weak opioids) is contraindicated.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to flupirtynu maleate or any excipient in the composition of the drug, hepatic encephalopathy, cholestasis, myasthenia gravis (Myasthenia gravis), liver disease, alcoholism, tinnitus, concomitant use flupirtynu with other drugs that may lead to drug-induced liver damage.
Dosage & Administration
Flupirtyn be taken for the shortest time required for obtaining an analgesic effect. Treatment duration should not exceed 2 weeks.
Disposable adult dose is 1 tablet prolonged Katadolon retard. This dose - equivalent to a maximum daily dose. If this dose does not provide adequate analgesic actions should choose another drug in dosage form, with another active ingredient content.
For patients over 65 and patients with significant lesions of the renal function initial dose is ½ (200 mg) extended release tablets per day. Given the intensity of pain and sensitivity of the patient to the drug further dose can be increased to 1 tablet prolonged day.
Tablets with prolonged action should be taken without chewing, drinking plenty of fluids (preferably water).
